The Shetland-miniature-donkey 400g V2 turnout rug is an ideal choice in colder weather or for clipped ponies. Matching neck covers are available separately, and the rug also suits small ponies like Section A's.
Made with a 1200D waterproof and breathable outer fabric (5000mm/5000g/m2/24hrs) that is Teflon™ coated for added toughness, this rug resists moisture and staining. The soft nylon lining helps prevent rubbing and keeps the coat smooth, while shoulder gussets allow free movement and help reduce friction.
It features a generous tail flap with a reflective strip. Double detachable webbing leg straps provide flexibility – easy to remove if unnecessary or replace if damaged, as they are not sewn in.
Adjustable surcingle straps with rubber washers help to prevent unfastening. At the chest, double adjustable straps with D rings and strong durable trigger clips simplify putting on and removing the rug. A wither protector is fitted for pony comfort, and Velcro fastenings on either side of the protector facilitate neck attachment if needed (neck cover listed separately), with a cover flap available for protection when a neck is not used. Reflective strips on the chest, hind quarters, and tail flap add visibility, especially if leading on roads.
This machine washable rug is neatly packed in a zipped bag with handles, ideal for storage when not in use.
